Rating System

My interest in royal history started with an incessant need to learn everything I could about Henry VIII and his six wives, thus, it is only fitting that my rating system be based on this fascinating cast of characters.

I loved it. One of my favorites!

I really liked it. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this book. Recommended.

Mediocre. Only recommended as a reinforcement read if you’re looking for extra insight on a particular character.

It was okay, but bland or lacking in key areas. Not recommended.

I rarely come across a book worthy of such a rating. Low caliber, don’t bother.
