The Young Victoria US Movie Release – A Special Preview Video Clip and Interviews with Producer Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and Stars Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend

In honor of The Young Victoria‘s official US release today, I will be sharing a clip from my favorite scene (depicting the meeting of Victoria and Albert) and three short interviews with producer Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and with stars Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend, who play Victoria and Albert. I went and saw an early screening of the film on Tuesday night and I thought it was very well done. It was very historically accurate, and the cinematography and costuming were just gorgeous! I’ll post my full review this weekend, but for now, please enjoy the videos below!

  1. Shweta says:

Emily Blunt is one of my favorite actress and I can't wait to watch this movie..:)

  2. Katy says:

Fantastic! I can't wait to see this!

  3. I'm so amused that Fergie is running around telling all the TV interviewers that she discovered this unknown love story in the archives at Windsor Castle. Their love story has been the subject of several biographies and it's one of the loveliest and most enduring of history.I delve into their courtship and marriage in some depth (complete with quotes from Victoria's diaries) in NOTORIOUS ROYAL MARRIAGES. It was one of my favorite chapters to write because it's the rare royal love story.
