I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday (those here in the States who celebrate it!). I just arrived back in the city last night after a week of spending time with my family. Thanksgiving Eve, my parents hosted a cocktail party for all their friends and then on actual Thanksgiving we went to my aunt & uncle’s house with some family. I love Thanksgiving because it is sort of like a kickoff to the beginning of the holiday season. It was great to hang out with my sisters and brother for the past couple of days. Yesterday it was pretty crappy weather out so my dad built a fire and we all stayed in, stuffed to the max with turkey and wine from the night before, watching movies and episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm (I can’t get enough of that show!). I made a pumpkin cheesecake as I do every year, and we feasted on leftovers and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be needing much food intake for the next week!
