Congratulations Amanda of Life and Times of a “New” New Yorker! You’ve won an autographed copy of The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory! An e-mail is on its way to you now.

A reminder that in honor of the Historical Fiction Bloggers Round Table event and Book Blogger Appreciation Week, this giveaway was open to book bloggers only. In order to be entered in this giveaway, you needed to provide me with a link to your book blog, either linked in your comment or embedded in your entry name. Future giveaways will be open to all, but just be sure to read the giveaway rules carefully so that you follow any entry guidelines. Thanks so much to everyone who entered this giveaway! My apologies for posting the winner announcement so late…I’ve been sick so I haven’t been blogging as frequently as usual!

  8. Congratulations to Amanda: I like your name. :) Allie, I want to know how you gave The Tudors K. of A. a comment bubble! And can we talk about how that actress doesn't resemble the real historical woman in the slightest? The real Katherine of Aragon, a beauty when she was a young woman, was auburn haired, pale skinned, gray-eyed, on the plump side when she was young and a walking root beer barrel in middle age. But then again, what am I thinking: expecting The Tudors to cast someone who actually looks like the historical figure they're playing?! The actress does do a credible Spanish accent, though.
