Robert Hicks Interview on BlogTalkRadio, With A Question from Hist-Fic Chick!

This afternoon, I had the opportunity to ask Robert Hicks (author of Widow of the South and A Separate Country, which releases today) a question on BlogTalkRadio! Miriam Parker of Grand Central Publishing led the hour-long interview, and Robert answered questions from Miriam and also took questions from outside callers as well as from members of the BlogTalkRadio chat room. You can listen to the interview at BlogTalkRadio here; my question comes in around the 11 minute, 20 second mark.

I asked: “Of all the historical figures, generals, and army wives associated with the Civil War, what was it about John Bell Hood and his brood that drew you in and made you want to write an historical novel about him?”

Be sure to check out the interview on BlogTalkRadio to find out his response!
